About this product
This formula builds on the foundation of organic red yeast rice by adding three key co-nutrients: CoQ10 for cardiovascular and cellular energy support, Alpha Lipoic Acid for antioxidant protection, and Milk Thistle (standardised to 80% silymarin) to support healthy liver function. All four ingredients work together to offer broader cardiovascular and metabolic support than red yeast rice alone. Like all NOW red yeast rice products, this formula is carefully manufactured to avoid citrinin — an unwanted by-product of the fermentation process associated with lower-quality red yeast rice supplements. It is vegan, non-GMO, and free from gluten, corn, soy, dairy, egg, and nuts. Important: Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Because red yeast rice acts on the same biological pathways as statin medications, it must not be combined with statins or used by those with a history of statin intolerance or liver disease without physician guidance. Discontinue immediately if you experience any muscle discomfort.
