About this product
Xymogen D3 Liquid delivers cholecalciferol — the same form of Vitamin D produced in the skin on sunlight exposure — in a micellised sunflower oil base. The micro-emulsification process creates a natural micellar matrix which, when coated by stomach bile, supports efficient absorption. D3 is approximately 87% more potent than D2 (ergocalciferol) in raising and maintaining serum calcidiol concentrations. Vitamin D deficiency is widespread — an estimated one billion people globally have insufficient levels. Calcitriol, the active metabolite of Vitamin D, functions as a secosteroid hormone that targets over 200 genes across a wide range of tissues. Optimal Vitamin D levels are associated with healthy bone turnover, normal immune function, healthy glucose metabolism, cardiovascular health, musculoskeletal comfort and neurological development. Vitamin D deficiency is particularly relevant in Hashimoto's thyroiditis and PCOS — two conditions in which low Vitamin D is consistently observed and contributes to worsening of symptoms. Liquid format allows precise dose adjustment — particularly useful for patients with identified deficiency requiring therapeutic rather than maintenance dosing. Free from wheat, gluten, corn, soy, dairy, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, egg and GMOs.
